Round wooden stud earrings cut from a recycled skateboard deck, so the maple layers and grain show across the face of each inlay. Two sizes.

12mm (1.2 cm) is the smaller of the two and sits close to the ear. 14mm (1.4 cm) is a little bolder, with more of the board's colour layers visible across the face. Both are light to wear and unisex. The colour arrangement changes with the board each pair was cut from.

Materials:
Recycled maple skateboard wood. Stainless steel posts and butterfly backs.

Size:
12mm (1.2 cm) or 14mm (1.4 cm) settings, with slightly smaller wooden inlays.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fittings do you use, and are they suitable for sensitive ears?

All fittings are hypoallergenic — stainless steel posts with butterfly backs on the studs, 25mm stainless steel hoops in silver, gold or black, and sterling silver leverbacks on the long drops. If you'd prefer a different fitting to the one shown, leave a note at checkout.

Are wooden earrings heavy?

No. Skateboard maple is light, so even the longer drops stay comfortable. The long drop earrings are approximately 55–60mm of wood at 7mm thick and still weigh very little compared with metal of the same size.

Will my pair look exactly like the photos?

Close, but not identical. Each pair is cut from a deck, so the sequence of colours and the grain shift from board to board. The design, size and fittings are the same — the colour arrangement is what varies.
