A little bit more about me

I’m Rasa — the maker behind Baltic Dew, working from Nottinghamshire, UK.
I work with broken and discarded skateboards, revealing the colour tones that guide each design. I spend hours shaping, sanding, and refining every piece until it feels right — testing finishes, learning through trial, and enjoying the process as much as the result.

Each design begins as an experiment — testing, shaping, refining until the piece is right. For me, the craft isn’t just about what it becomes, but what it teaches along the way.

Why “Baltic Dew”?

The name carries a part of who I am.
Baltic — because I’m from Lithuania, one of the Baltic states, a place that shaped how I see simplicity, nature, and quiet strength.
Dew — because it’s the direct meaning of my name, Rasa.

Together they reflect the balance between roots and renewal — where something grounded meets something light.

From broken boards to wearable colour

Most people never notice how many colours hide inside a skateboard — until you look closer and see the layers beneath. I love revealing those layers, using their marks and colour tones to shape the piece.

Every ring, bracelet, and earring shows its own rhythm of colour and grain. No two pieces are ever the same — and that’s exactly what I value most.

Handcrafted in small batches

Everything I make is shaped by hand, in small runs, so every piece feels personal. Some come from skated, well-worn decks, others from broken boards waiting for a second life.

I don’t aim for mass production. I aim for pieces that carry presence — balanced, durable, and made to be worn for years.

Find your piece

If you like statement hands, start with rings.
Prefer lighter designs? Try earrings or a pendant.
Looking for something tactile and everyday? A bracelet might be the one.

Care & sizing

Your jewellery is made from wood, shaped and sealed by hand. Avoid soaking, heavy pressure, or direct heat, and store it somewhere dry when not worn.
