Long drop earrings with two recycled skateboard beads and a piece of Lithuanian Baltic amber, linked in a line below the hook so the whole drop moves.
The beads are turned by hand from a recycled skateboard deck, so the maple layers run around each one as stripes — yellow, black and purple on the upper bead, yellow and green on the lower. The amber sits at the top: a small uneven polished piece, warm orange and translucent against the steel.

Recycled maple skateboard wood. One piece of genuine Lithuanian Baltic amber. Surgical steel hooks.
Size:
Approx. 5cm total drop. Wooden beads approx. 10 mm diameter. The amber is an uneven natural piece, so its shape and size vary.

Frequently Asked Questions
What fittings do you use, and are they suitable for sensitive ears?
Stainless steel posts with butterfly backs on the studs, 25mm stainless steel hoops in silver, gold or black, and sterling silver leverbacks on the long drops. If you react to a particular metal, message before ordering — I can tell you what a given pair uses, and a different fitting can usually be fitted instead.
Are wooden earrings heavy?
No. Skateboard maple is light, so even the longer drops stay comfortable. The long drop earrings are approximately 55–60mm of wood at 7mm thick and still weigh very little compared with metal of the same size.
Will my pair look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Each pair is cut from a deck, so the sequence of colours and the grain shift from board to board. The design, size and fittings are the same — the colour arrangement is what varies.
